Toposcope (directional marker) at look-out point above Balcanoona
A short walking trail commencing at Balcanoona Park Headquarters and leading to a look-out point at about 230m is being developed. To mark the lookout point, the Friends will build a base on which to mount a directional marker (a toposcope) which points out the direction to notable features around Balcanoona. The image above shows the summit of the walk (seen from the 280m peak above) with Balcanoona Headquarters in the background. Read more here.
