In March 2023, more Western Quoll were released – 25 more – into Vulkathunha National Park. This latest release brings the total number released to 75 during 2022 and 2023. And they are doing well. We are hoping to see some of them in images captured by our remote cameras. We will find out when we next visit Balcanoona in May 2023. Read the news report here.

Fifteen endangered Chuditch aka Western Quoll (Dasyurus geoffreii) from Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo were released into the Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges National Park in November 2022. These complement the 25 that were released in April 2022. Read more here: WQrelease
